IMAGINE AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP

Attention High School Students Graduating This Year-
Three graduates from every high school in the nation are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend selected career colleges. The scholarships are sponsored by the Career College Foundation in Washington, DC.

Further, each participating high school is able to (1) establish its own award criteria, and (2) select the award recipients.

MICHIGAN MERIT AWARD SCHOLARSHIP

Awarded by: The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP)
Eligibility requirements: Starting with high school graduating Class of 2000 until the high school graduating class of 2006. The Michigan Merit Award Scholarship provides up to $3,000 to high school graduates for outstanding performance on an assessment test. Students have four (4) years to use their award. Once initiated it must be used over two consecutive academic years, otherwise it results in forfeiture of any remaining balance.

Michigan Promise Scholarship

Awarded by: The Michigan Office of Scholarships and Grants
Eligibility Requirements: Starting with the class of 2007, high school
students take the State Assessment Tests--either the Michigan Educational
Assessment Program (MEAP) or the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) depending on high school graduating class year.
